For game lovers, there is some interesting news! Jon Jacobs, Miami-based owner of an asteroid in “Entropia Universe”, along with Chinese born real estate giant Allin Graef of “Second Life” fame have announced Virtual Awards Academy. Both of them are popular entrepreneurs in this gaming industry such as online spaces popularly called, “Virtual Worlds” are planning for awards to this promising and constantly growing industry.

Nominations will be accepted by the academy on its respective website. Popular categories of nominations are Best Virtual World, Best Virtual Fashion Designer and ost Dynamic Virtual Economy.
On February, all the winners will be announced and awarded with virtual statues. Ceremonies will be held in “Second Life” and “Entropia Universe.” Major motto behind this Virtual award function is, “recognize achievements in all areas of virtual artistry, technology, commerce and culture,” as stated by the founders. Founders are popularly known with their online names as Graef "Anshe Chung" and Jacobs "Neverdie."
Ren Reynolds, one of the topmost British consultant quoted that, “I guess all industries get to the point of having awards and I see no reason why the virtual worlds one should be any different.” He further said, “It looks like a good move for Anshe as she is building a brand around a service organization that spans virtual worlds.”
