Capcom unveiled Lost Planet: Extreme Condition that is the upcoming sci-fi themed first person shooter for Xbox 360 at a Tokyo press conference on Saturday.

The USP of the game is that it will give the gamers a cinematic gaming experience set in a frozen environment having hostile indigenous creatures and invading monsters. Also, the game will feature the ability to jump into heavily armed mechanized vehicles to travel the frozen landscape and combat enemies.
Capcom said that the game is being jointly developed by the creators of Onimusha and the creators of Devil May Cry. The game is slated to be released in by end of next year.
If it really delivers what he promises, I have no doubts whatsoever that this will be one of the best FPS gaming experience we would ever have. By that time Sony's PS3 will be released. The frozen environment of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition might just prove to the hotbed for Xbox 360 for which it is being developed.
The year 2006 is now being eagerly awaited by the gaming world and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition gives us one more reason to keep our fingers crossed in anticipation.
