It’s just few weeks back in April when Lost Planet received its second map pack for 400 MS points (however now available for free download on Xbox Live Marketplace), and the publisher has announced a new map-pack, shipping next week.

The new map pack will also cost 400 MS points i.e. $5, that introduces three new multiplayer maps; Lost Technology, Ice Drop and Ruins. A little description of what the new maps come with, has been mentioned below:

Lost Technology: A level that takes place inside an 8-bit game. Or at least that's what it looks like, with boxy, pixelated graphics. This looks great, and may be worth the price of admission alone.

Ice Drop: this level will take place in ice caves and ice fields. Basically, it's icy. Bonus points for the addition of the Aurora Borealis.

Ruins: Ancient jungle ruins. From the pictures it looks pretty mech-heavy

Apart from this, Capcom is presently working on a new patch that has to do something with connectivity fixes, which is likely to appear sometime in July. The new map pack will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace on June 21st, 2007.
