Atari has bagged an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with the EuropaCorp Group for development, publishing and distribution of video games based on Luc Besson's 'Arthur and the Minimoys'.

For those who came late, Arthur and the Minimoys is an animated feature film based on Besson's smash hit adventure books that sold more than 950,000 copies in France alone. The film tells the story of Arthur and his friends - Betameche and Selenia. They embark on a mission to save the Minimoys' world from destruction.
The animation was crafted using groundbreaking cutting-edge animation techniques with a budget of $85 million,
The game will be entirely based upon and inspired by the movie. It is in development stages for PS 2, PSP, GBA, DS, and PC. It will be released in simultaneously with the film at the end of 2006.
