Aiming at providing non-elite consoles with a HD experience, Mad Catz Interactive have come up with a Xbox 360 HDMI Conversion Kit that lets other consoles to connect directly to any standard HDMI input on their basic displays to enjoy hi-def digital audio-visuals for gaming and playback. The kit connects to the AV output located at the rear end of the console and uses ‘advanced microprocessor technology' to convert analogue signal to digital HDMI stream. This enables even non-elite Xbox consoles to output HD resolutions upto and including 1080p which is still compatible with the HDMI 1.3 standard. Equipped to handle full-multi-channel Digital Audio including DTS and Dolby Digital, the HDMI converter can also be plugged in directly with compatible TV set.
