Shedding beams of light on the Nintendo’s latest kart-racing title Mario Kart Wii, the Official Nintendo Magazine reveals that the game likely to make its launch early next year is receiving a pre-launch mod. The magazine reports that the game will feature a vigorous online play allowing up to 16 players battle altogether. Apart from this, the gamers will be able to perform stunts in the air, though it is not yet known if it will help gameplay in a particular way.
If you are still unsatisfied, the developer has made all the tracks playable in the DS version of the title available on the Wii version with some new tracks. The latest mod has truly dragged gamers in a tight spot as they have been granted with a lot of choices.
Other info is in scarce about the online mode at the moment, though we hope that including Battle mode, 16 players will be able to go head to head in grand prix modes as well.
Mario Kart Wii will be released in Spring 2008. Jump over to have a glimpse of page containing info.
