Weeks ago, launch date of Mass Effect was rumored by a French website as June 5th in US for Xbox360. I was sticking to my guns as the time when the site reported about the US and European launch dates, I was calling it a slip-up and hence has been proved a blunder, today.

Now CVG reports that the launch date of highly anticipated Xbox360 exclusive title Mass Effect has been postponed until September, 2007.
The site claims that the source of information is a PR event, and Microsoft has officially confirmed nothing, until now.
Mass Effect is BioWare's major project of the year and one of the most anticipated games of 2007, and if the new report carries any accuracy, then it raises some interesting questions. Is Microsoft altering the launch time of Mass Effect due to any change in its other upcoming big hits like Blue Dragon and Halo III or taking extra time to refine content of the title?
