Albany Mayor Michael Bloomberg fired an employee and he saw a game of solitaire on the employee's computer screen.
The Republican mayor stopped by the city's legislative office in Albany a few weeks ago to hear the governor's State of the State address. It was there he saw office assistant Edward Greenwood IX was going over some papers at his desk and noticed Greenwood's game of solitaire glowing on his screen.
When the mayor reached him, Greenwood stood, they shook hands and the photographer snapped a photo. He said nothing to Greenwood then but later on ordered an aide to sack him from his job.
I am at loss of words now. Now who will fire the Mayor from his job for breaking work ethics? The Governor doesn't make surprise visits to Mayors' offices often.
