The final launch date of Medal of Honor Airborne was hanging in balance, but now I can say it's is official, as EA has announced the firm release date for it. The next iteration to EA's well-accepted WWII shooter series will ship to the stands on August 28, 2007.
The game will hit three various platforms named PC, PS3, and Xbox360, as it makes its debut in the rainy season.

With making its next-gen debut, Medal of Honor Airborne is set to revive the series by introducing players to the WWII FPS and have an Airborne experience.
The game kicks-off with Operation Husky, the invasion of Sicily, you playing as a paratrooper in the legendary 82nd Airborne Division, jumps out of a transport plane. You have the ability to determine your own starting point, viewing the entire operation from the air, and then control your parachute to choose your landing spot. The game comes with a lot of intense and fully interactive airdrop goodness.
Other missions in the game included Operation Neptune, the airborne component of D-Day, and Operation Varsity that see 30,000 soldiers parachuting into Germany in the single largest military airdrop. Furthermore, the game utilizes the very latest technology to deliver truly believable humans within highly interactive environment. The game also comes with dynamic online play, as well.
The game hasn't been rated yet. The publisher has revealed a new trailer, as well that you can enjoy below.
