Well, two MGS 4 rumors are running on the net, simultaneously, I don’t know, which part tempts you the most. Firstly, Konami has recently denied the XBox360 version of the MGS 4, developer, however has not yet commented, in response, secondly, Konami is talking to Nintendo to bring a slighter version of MGS 4 to the Wii.
Months ago, it was Noooz, who fueled the rumor mill about MGS 4’s non-PS3 exclusivity, and the goose-bumping news grabbed the attention of all the gamers, at antipodes.
We were looking for some comment from Yoji Shinkawa, but is currently tight lipped.
Even Konami spokesperson didn’t hit at the right point just beats about the bush saying that the game is set after the events of MGS2 and players will reprise the role of top secret agent Solid Snake with appearances by characters throughout the MGS series. With the addition of online capability, MGS4 is a leading product and will signal the dawn of a new gaming era for the MGS series.
MGS 4 is a fourth stealth based game developed by Kojima Productions, owning just single player mode (no multiplayer mode announced yet), currently waiting for the confirmation of its launched date.
Anyways, we are expecting Metal Gear Solid 4 sometime in 2008.
