A piece of rumor buried in the bowl of Noooz is that the latest title of Kojima; Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a PS3 exclusive title not at all. However the Metal Gear inheritor title has been set for release sometime in 2007 for PS3 console. The literal date has not yet been ousted by the developers.
The rumor has brought some sort of disappointment to the PS3 gamers as they wanted to see their neighbors lamenting over the unavailability of the stealth based game title on their Xbox360 consoles. But now Noooz has break the ice and editor of Noooz, Daniel Boutros says that he hardly air the news until or unless the sources are firm and this time he is damn sure that the rumor will cleave into a hot news.
However the authenticity of the scandal is still to shell out and till then we have to assume the actuality of Daniel’s statement and we have to wait the moment when the hazy layer of myth shatters.
But if we suppose the factuality of the news then the only reason behind this can be the meager sales figures of Sony’s next-gen console, PS3 as it had sold out just 197,000 hardware out of 2 million shipped and analyzers have predicted the low sales of PS3 can help the sales figures of Xbox360 to a significant extent and possibly that can be the reason for diversion of Kojima towards Xbox360.
