With the recent rumors, it seems that Microsoft is going to buyout SEGA Sammy. It only seems logical too, if you add everything up. SEGA has a massive list of titles that could bring the loyal fanbase back, they have possible software that could help Microsoft out, and it’s SEGA what else do you need? Microsoft, of course hasn’t officially commented on this yet, but we should be expecting something out of them soon.
SEGA’s stocks dropped to new lows this week which makes it an ideal target for a buyout. I believe Microsoft will not only jump, but will leap at the chance of this buyout. It is not only the cheapest and most effective way to bringing the Xbox back, but they will have another household name under their sleeve. Microsoft, within this or next month should release some information on this buyout that seems all but improbable. I predict they will have SEGA in a matter of weeks and that will be another score for Microsoft.
