Mirror’s Edge delayed; Consoles first in line

Gagandeep SharmaSep 19 2008

It is a sad, sad day for PC gamers. Mirror’s Edge had them waiting anxiously ever since its announcement. The parkour-based action game was to hit consoles and PC simultaneously later this year. Unfortunately that ain’t happening now! EA has announced that Mirror’s Edge will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 11th, and PC date is yet to be finalized. 'Later in the winter' is what press release says, but chances are, the title would be pushed into 2009. EA, meanwhile, has some good news as well. It has confirmed that a demo of the tutorial stage will hit the PSN before the game launches. Those who pre-order the game starting September 26 will get a code that unlocks Time Trial mode in the demo. PC gamers would be well advised to switch to a console to get a taste of Faith at the earliest.
