Mission Impossible 3 Game
When Mission Impossible 3 hits the theatres this summer the game will be released as well. But then, it will be for mobiles only, at least for the time being. It is so because Paramount Pictures is giving the console market a pass and rolling the game out over 150 mobile carriers coinciding with the time when the movie release.
Gameloft, the mobile gaming numero uno will be making and releasing the game. The company has a multi-year license for the movie; hence, they will release several versions of the game if the first one is a success. The first one will be a 2D game that based on the storyline of the movie.
You might remember that before this, a similar approach was taken last summer for War of the Worlds.
As we can see, Gameloft is hyperactive in Hollywood. They released a mobile game based on King Kong and have one based on The O.C. in the pipeline to be released.
