Chinese Whispers was a favorite pastime of ours in school. An exercise in communication it led to may a schoolyard fight, as also some hilarious gaffes. Fast forward to today and we have a pictorial version of the game, Mixed Messages making debut on the newest console of ‘em all: the DSi. Activision is going to release this title on DSiWare. Mixed Messages has been developed by Vicarious Visions and is a party game intended for 2 to 21 players. The game is rather simple. First player writes a sentence on the screen and the next player tries to represent it with a picture. The following player tries to guess the sentence from the picture, jots it down and then passes it on for the exercise to be repeated. This continues till all the players have had a go. Actually the description does not do Mixed Messages the required justice. It promises a lot more fun than that. Imagine the crap people can write, and more importantly, draw to represent that crap. Ah, the possibilities! Mixed Messages comes with complete instructions for those not used to handhelds. It is now on sale for 500 Nintendo Points. A little something to spice up a boring party!
