Shrek the funny-looking and kind-hearted burly green ogre, his wife Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots, the talking donkey and all other characters that feature in the film ‘Shrek the Third’ will be featuring in a new mobile game that will be launched on the same day as the film. The film is scheduled to be released on May 18. The game has been developed by the top mobile game publishing and developing company Gameloft in association with DreamWorks Animation SKG and will be launched across 170 operators in over 75 countries.
In the story, Shrek who is married to Princess Fiona, is crowned King of Far Far Away after his father-in-law King Harold suddenly dies. ‘Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown’. Shrek prefers his life in the swamp and does not want this honor. So with the help of his friends, the talking Donkey and Puss In Boots, he seeks to find an able king for Far Far Away. The closest they get to is Fiona’s cousin Artie, a high-school drop out.
