All the gamers will get a gift from Microsoft this Christmas. The software giant has extended the warranty of its gaming console the Xbox 360 from the initial 90 days period to a whole year.

The company will also be reimbursing the repair cost to all the customers who have paid for the repairs of the gaming console within one year of their purchase. This new warranty statement will be valid in United States and Canada as most other parts of the globe are already getting an years warranty on the product.
The one year warranty will enable all the customers to get the product repaired free of cost if they experience some hardware related issues in it. According to me the only condition should be that you should not have opened its hood and tampered with the product...!

Jeff Bell, the Corporate Vice President of Global Marketing for the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft commented that customer satisfaction is the central priority for the system. He also stated that,
'In addition to jaw-dropping features such as high-definition graphics, an amazing catalog of over 160 games, and social online and entertainment experiences on Xbox Live®, the Xbox 360 system now offers this extended warranty upgrade. It is truly the industry's most compelling home entertainment offering.'
The warranty is retroactive so the customers who have paid for the repairs of the gaming console within their first year of purchase will get the reimbursement checks in about ten weeks time. That's some good news this Christmas...!
