Mobile phone games
THQ have revealed that they are planning another installment of their hugely popular Worms mobile phone game. The game, which will be released in June this year, has been developed in collaboration with TEAM 17 and aims at bringing a surreal kind of humor to mobile gaming. Worms 2008: A Space Oddity is expected to stick to the formula of the original game, albeit with a new AI system that will allow enemy worms to calculate which are the greater threats while providing them with navigational capacities and a range of ammo as well. The new game will also feature a new mini-game, an enhanced single-player operation and a new terrain viewing mode that lets players switch between landscape and portrait modes. Worms 2008 will hit over 850 handset models this June.
