Developers are delivering what we want. And it seems nobody is tired of shooting those wretched undead. As another instance of the operation of the age-old laws of demand & supply, we have a zombie title waiting in the wings. Zombie Apocalypse has been announced by Konami, and the downloadable title is scheduled for release this summer. Zombie Apocalypse will be available to the gamers on Xbox 360 and PS3. The game follows a rather clichéd storyline as players (up to four in a co-op mode, online or locally) are left to fight for survival, in a world rife with the undead. The aim is to save a few living souls from a terrible death that awaits them. Zombie Apocalypse seeks to make difference in the way that players deal with the undead. As many as 11 leathal weapons – including a C4 filled teddy bear – are provided to kill zombies. Also objects from the surroundings can be used to inflict pain on the enemies. Players must stay alive for 55 days in seven different environments, and with an equal number of unlockable game modes this title may turn out to be more entertaining than we may imagine. We’ll know for sure this summer. Mum’s the word on price and date.
