Any Final Fantasy title with no spin-off/sequel sounds a bit awkward! We can never avoid the sequel fun that always comes bounded with almost all FF titles. Seemingly, Square Enix's chief Motomu Toriyama enjoyed the craftwork of Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings so much that he has expressed his desires to develop a sequel to Revenant Wings.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings has made its debut just a week ago on April 26, 2007 in Japan with quite slow vending rate (in opening week), and the reports of sequel are already surfacing (thank god! not a rumor).
However, this can't be taken as confirmation as this is just a casual declaration, and we have to wait for some more formal announcement, nonetheless, a Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings sequel seems to be in the pipeline, for sure.

No platform has been specific by the head of the company, but we are hoping Revenant Wings sequel also for Nintendo's handheld DS.
