Movies go haywire, gaming biz on the track

More than movies video games are more interactive. In the movies, the gamer is not in control of the story and the movie-goer has to experience the same dull and boring re-run of the show. He does not have the luxury of a joystick, you know. The viewers have absolutely no chance to change the performance of the bad man or the struggling hero. They can not beat up the scoundrel baddie for infinite times.

Smart ones who have taken their lead from PCs, Xboxes and PlayStations found out that there has never been a half honest flick based on gaming. Because, the basic difference between the two medium lie in taking active part and making things up for themselves. Cinema is more about inactively watching and listening.

Audiences can not make movies, they can not take part. That's why they are called so. Games thrive on player input while movies are stifled by it.

If more and more movies lost the plot on the halfway, blame it on revolution called gaming.
