Ok, this had to come sooner or later. Microsoft has admitted that there have been isolated reports of technical problems with its new Xbox 360. There have been complaints of crashing during start-up or game-play where games either froze, graphics distorted or the screen went blank. Also there had been reports of overheating of the consoles during game-play.
However, MS is downplaying the situation (as it is expected to do under such circumstances when the Xbox 360 was launched with so much fanfare in N America and yet to be released in Japan and Europe).
MS's Xbox spokeswoman Molly O'Donnell said; "It's a few reports of consoles here and there not working properly. It's what you would expect with a consumer electronics instrument of this complexity."
O'Donnell also said that if the problem could not be resolved immediately MS would pay to ship the console to and from a repair centre, or provide a replacement if the fault could not be repaired.
The company has urged any Xbox 360 owners who are having problems to visit - Xbox official site. Alternatively you can call 1-800-4MYXBOX or read some of Major Nelson's support documentation.
Ha Ha Ha!!! If you are an Xbox 360 owner and faced similar problems, please let us know about your experience. We shall definitely post them here.
