I don't know whether the information carries any authenticity or not, but one thing is for sure that it'll make the PS3 owners cry in jealousy, because Newsweek reports that Namco's much anticipated puzzle action Beautiful Katamari is going to be Xbox360 exclusive. The site states that the developer has reallocated many of its previous projects with making them Xbox360 exclusive that were previously announced for PS3, as well. Ridge Racer 6, Eternal Sonata, etc are few games that Namco is bringing exclusively for Xbox360.

The very first reason for playing betrayal with Sony may be its low sale, as the consoles is undergoing low sales and will last for few more months. Secondly, (a high secret) both the big corporates (Namco and Microsoft) are going to bring about an exclusivity deal, which ensures that Namco will be developing only exclusive titles for Microsoft. The deal is likely to be announced at E3 expo.

Katamari was introduced back in 2004, exclusively on the PS2, but after some time Namco brought it to PSP, as well. Many speculations surfaced confirming it for PS3 as well as Wii, but the new report is a big turning point.

From Namco's recent announcements, SoulCalibur IV is the latest one that it has confirmed for both; Xbox360 as well as PS3.

More information about deepening ties between Microsoft and Namco is likely to surface at E3 expo that takes place this July.
