jak and combat racing

Naughty Dog is up to doing something mischievous once again. The Sony-owned American video game company achieved tremendous success with Uncharted and is ready to throw the hat at a new project for PlayStation 3.

Co-President of the company, Evan Wells, is well and truly at the heart of all the new projects and moves that Naughty Dog aspires to undertake and his confession of admiration for the PlayStation3 has stirred raised hopes of another brilliant video game from the company.

Mr. Evans doesn’t eclipse the fact that several inside Naughty Dog are craving to work on a new Jak and Daxter game that would be built on a similar hardware as used for PS3. This does certainly imply that Naughty Dog are up to something new and more robust than their earlier productions and video game buffs must be waiting eagerly for the next big thing from Naughty Dog.

Mr. Evan Wells says:

I’m more impressed with the hardware the longer we get to work with it. Imagining trying to develop Uncharted without the Blue-ray drive, without the hard drive, or without the Cell processor makes me wonder what kind of game we would have ended up with. It certainly would have required a lot more compromises than I would have been comfortable making. And much like the PS2, I think the longer developers work with the machine, the better the games are going to get. For instance we are only using approximately 1/3 of the processing power of the SPUs on the Cell processor in Uncharted.

So the game has already begun. The video game players now wait in eager expectation.
