Nevrax likely to liquidate: Online Gamers organize auction

Ryzom, an admired MMORPG game developed by the French studio Nevrax is going on auction as the game developer is at the stage of bankruptcy. Few online gaming enthusiasts are trying to give a helping hand to the deeply accepted title Ryzom. The move has been initiated by a former Nevrax employ Xavier Antoviaque who says they will dispose the game to the gamers all around the world after buying it.

The bids are open and they have already started receiving of more than 60,000€. The company is going under liquidation in December and the auctioneers are hoping that they will be able to purchase the source code for the game and distribute it for free.

The auctioneers say if nobody buys the game they will purchase it themselves for 10,000€.

However Nevrax didn't let out the cause of bankruptcy. The developer launched the game in Spet. 2004 and the title got much more applauds.

The move is definitely the high initiative to keep the worth of the game regardless whatever be the reasons for the liquidation of the game developing company. The title will be able to spread its charm over thousands and millions of gamers around the globe just like WOW and Everquest.
