We all COD ardent are glad to hear that brand new gameplay footage of Activision’s Call of Duty 4 has been released. Unlike its predecessors, the fourth installment to the series takes a quite different approach with renouncing the obsolete WW II trend, the publisher says that WW II is the foundation of the great franchise, but latest sequel takes a break from its recurring WW II parentage and enters a new era of a modern battlefield.
You can’t say Call of Duty 4 a reiteration, because it brings a whole new idea of warfare and shows Infinity Ward’s great fictional work. The new trailer shows all the old-age WWII shooters turned all modern with innovative ideas of battling and eye-catching actions. After going through the trailer, we feel like we have been carried-away. The ambush of your fellow soldiers, the smoky environment, heat-seeking rockets wondering overhead, the piercing sound of helicopter, these are few things that make COD 4 a bit different experience from its antecedents. Call of Duty 4 is alleged to be released on Xbox360, PS3 and PC, sometime this fall and is unquestionably in our must buy list.
