The creator of the world’s favourite game Tetris, which is a perennial favourite for many for two decades now, has created a new mobile game called Mozaki Blocks.
Alexei Pajitnov, the original Russian creator of Tetris, who now lives in the US has designed this game that involves stacking coloured blocks on a board to form lines.
Mozaki Blocks has been around for sometime on the web, but it’s now coming to mobile, thanks to Microsoft’s casual games division.
Pocket Gamer says;
Having played a demo, we can confirm that it looks every bit as smooth and addictive as the Web version.
Microsoft hasn’t announced when it’ll be arriving on mobile in Europe yet, but it looks certain to seal Alexei’s reputation as more than a one-hit wonder.
Is it? Let’s hope so, after all, he is the one who gave us Tetris, the game we hooked to whenever we needed a break!
