The legendary creator of Wolfenstein 3D, Doom and Quake computer programmer John Carmack is now making mobile phone games. He is already enjoying the super success of Doom RPG, the role playing game. And now the genius is all prepared with his upcoming mobile phone game, Orcs and Elves.

In a candid interview with MSNBC he discloses that, while doing the Doom RPG he thought why not recreate the magic of a traditional fantasy game like Orcs and Elves. He was excited by the 'swords and sorcery, dungeons and dragons, tunnels and trolls, that sort of thing.' So when he was further told by some key gaming people that this is a pretty good name for a game, he did not look further and trademarked it.
John Carmack's wife is an inspiring source for the man. Both of them scrutinized the very large set of folk lore along with Dungeons & Dragons games.
