What makes it even more frustrating, when you know that gamers in Japan and North America can actually go out and buy New Super Mario Bros. Believe me, that’s what they actually are doing in hoards.
Well, the exact number North America is not out yet, early sales figure from Japan suggests that the title is enjoying a whopping debut in the sunrise country. By a conservative estimate, 480,000 copies were sold on its very first day. That is astonishing, because no other DS game has reached near to that number before. It has also dwarfed the all first week sales of earlier Mario games.
