Konami has just revealed a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. But the thing of our concerns here is the ending of trailer that very elegantly smashes the rumor of the game’s release date slipping into 2008.

The new video confirms the release date of the game that you would find at the very end of the trailer. The video confirms October 15th, 2007 as the release date for the new Metal Gear Solid title.
The video represents how the Metal Gear Solid 4 is set in the aftermath of its prequel named Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and the story progresses in a way that leaves “no place to hide” for Solid Snake and will force our hero into unfavorable conditions.
The video lasts for about 13 minutes and you would find the crux of what changes Konami has brought to the MGS franchise with introducing a new intriguing sequel in the series. Jump over to video.
