A developer working on the new Banjo Kazooie: Nuts And Bolts game for Xbox 360 has said that the gameplay trailer which features a scene where a giant LEGO-like semblance of Super Mario gets its his head blown by a guided missile, had no 'malicious intent' behind it. The Mario vehicle, developers at Rare stress, will not be a part of the final game. And though the scene itself isn’t that offending, unless you’re a NES faithful ruing the day Microsoft got to lay their dirty paws on Rare, or a desperate Mario lover with a split personality-thing going on. Anywho, the hype and the controversy is sure going to help Rare garner a lot of attention for what is looking like a rather unimpressive game for the time being.
