Japanese PS3-owners would be able to add to their gaming experience in approximately two months. Sony has announced that a new wireless headset will hit Japanese stores on October 30th. The Wireless Headset will be compatible with several titles that have online chat feature, including Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Resistance 2 etc. SOCOM: Confrontation another such game has the same release date and will thus include the gizmo in a bundle. This headset connects to the console via Bluetooth (with a range of 10 meters approximately) but also has USB support and comes with a docking charger. Allowing for eight hours of gameplay at full charge, the headset comes equipped with noise canceling feature as well. Another feature that would surely be appreciated is the headset’s on-screen indication of vital stats. The new headset has been priced at 5,000 yen and there is no word on its availability (if at all) in other markets.
