Next GTA an MMO? Signs tell so

Well, the latest news is that Rockstar North, creators of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, is hiring people, it is hiring network programmers, and by the looks of it, the job listing reveals the Grand Theft Auto developer is looking people for designing networked gameplay that has the potential for online gaming.

When the announcement came that Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories would have multiplayer most of us thought that it will just be an one off title with online gaming features. However, it now seems that that future Grand Theft Autos may indeed have online play.

Actually, the speculations started after the Rockstar North posted a job listing. The minimal listing says that it is 'looking to expand their experienced and talented teams' along with network programmers.

So, what do you think of it becoming and RPG? It is such a game that you may indeed be able to don the character of a profanity spewing, marauding violent and indulge in things that would otherwise land you in the pen for life or earn you a shot of lethal injection in real life.

Anyway, the idea is really appealing indeed.
