No one thought that this would happen so soon. Nintendo DS Wi-Fi has reached one million unique users! What’s more, there are more than 27 million connections logged since the service launched in November 2005.
This stupendous success is attributed to not only the features of the console, but also to a continuing global increase in the availability of the company’s public access Wi-Fi ‘hotspots’, which currently total more than 20,000 in Europe alone, located at airports, coffee shops, bars, hotels and a range of other venues.
Well done Nintendo, keep the good work up.
