Nintendo UK Boasts 105,000 Wii units record-breaking Sales

Until now the huge 50,000 sales figures was the hot news but now the figures have become a bit outdated as new sky touching figures are lay alongside. The fresh figures say that the Wii sales figures has surpassed the 1K mark within very first week of the its launch week back on 8th Dec. in UK. Reporting accurate figures Nintendo and ChartTrack confirmed the total 105,000 Wii units' transaction in its opening weekend in UK market and has become the first fastest selling consoles ever.

Before that Nintendo touched one more milestone of 50,000 units in just 12 hours after it went on sale in UK. Before this Xbox360 was the title holder with selling off around 70,000 hardware within week.

Some software like the Legend of Zelda as well are performing well with selling 412,000 copies.

The launch aftermaths are obvious since such a great success was foretold conclusion as looking the sales figures in UK in just 12 hours which is also a great accomplishment within itself. The captivating gameplay, low price tag, some enticing games titles like Zelda and sodality with motion sensitive wireless controller are making it sell like hot cake. Nintendo before launch had made the statement saying the new console will break the long existing perceptions that says the video games are generally made for teen gamers. Really the console appears to break all the existing beliefs and is making dragging its arm up to the veteran as well as female gamers.
