The other day author Dean Takahashi claimed that Microsoft was planning a new handheld gaming system. The Head of Xbox for Northern and Eastern Europe confirmed that a portable Xbox console is certainly not in development.
While speaking to T3 he ruled out the increasing rumor that MS is firm on its plan on a handheld console to take on rival PSP and DS.
Recently the speculation was rife that Microsoft plans to enter the portable sector. The rumor was spread out by author Dean Takahashi. In his book, The Xbox 360 Uncloaked he has written that an exclusive Xbox team is currently working on a handheld project.
