World's largest mobile phone maker, Nokia has released its new gaming platform, named N-Gage Gaming Platform for mobile phones. The company has launched its next generation software development kit (SDK) for mobile phones.

Nokia has launched a variety of upcoming games, including 'Brother's in Arms' and FIFA 2008 published by mobile gaming giant, Electronic Arts. The company has embedded this platform in its 60 series handsets. Nokia mobile phone users can download the gaming platform on their mobile phones by using third edition S60 handset. The N-Gage platform would also be compatible with games offered on SNAP Mobile's network. SNAP is a Nokia's initiative for Java based game developers.

Users can also link into other Web 2.0 features. Even users can also search gamer's profiles, friends' lists, chatting features and ability to send game invites and read and post reviews. Nokia is dealing with publishers and operators, including EA, Gameloft, Glu and THQ for mobile gaming.
