Square-Enix has announced that their new Wii-exclusive game named ‘Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirror’ will be released sometime in 2008 in North America.

Till now we were able to get just scanty information of the game. In this game users will have to control four characters named Hero, Setia, Dean and Baud. Like all other games these virtual characters will also come with their own strengths and weaknesses. To combat players will be locked to set paths when moving between towns. All the action will mainly take place in a first-person perspective.
Users will not only be allowed to use Hero’s sword in a fight but they will also need to strategically use the shield to block attacks and magic to damage certain creatures, which in all should make it a pleasure to play. The entire interface will be solely handled by the Wii Remote.
The game will however be released in Japan on July 12. So for all of you there in North America, if you want to have an early taste of the game then try to get it shipped from Japan after July 12.
