Virtua Fighter 5 finally shipped in North US yesterday on Feb 20th, 2007. the versus fighter genre, that has already been released in Japan on Feb 8th, has made a notch up to no. 1 in sales ranking in Japan.
The game is waiting for its launch in European market and as PS3 is launched in Europe, the game publisher will announce the launch date for Europe as well.
Having an advantage of being one of the versus fighter game (already there are very few fighting games on PS3) still it is struggling to climb the sales chart in many of the popular online retailers. Amazon has ranked it at 39th in sales ranking while the other online retailers like EBgames and gamestop haven't noticed much pre-orders so that they can rank it.
Virtua Fighter 5 is coming to Xbox360 before the fall season starts.
Virtua Fighter 5 is a T-rated game by ESRB and comes with a suggestive price of $60.
