The launch of PAC-MANIA which is the 3D sequel to PAC-MAN has been announced by Namco Europe's Web & Mobile Content division.

In the new game, PAC-MAN can jump in all four directions. Also there would be bonus fruits and foods like ice cream, hamburgers and coffee that can add to PAC-MAN's points, increase his speed, or the height of his jumps. Apart from the old ghosts Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde there are now 3 new ghosts who can also jump and try to nab PACMAN.
The new game will be available throughout Europe from December 2005for a wide range of JAVA-enabled mobile handsets.
Pramesh Chauhan, the Head of Business Development for Namco Europe's Web & Mobile Content division, said, "Every person who's ever played PAC-MAN will be able to pick up and play PAC-MANIA in seconds.'
