Where memories of freaking God of War II spoofs were yet to fade into insignificance, another case of nudity/sexuality has appeared in THQ’s all new action title Conan, scheduled for two next-gen consoles - PS3 and Xbox360. One out of four newly released screenshots portray sheer nudity in which a damsel is shown completely stripped. After having a close look at image, it seems like the maiden has been enslaved, noosed with metal chains, and likely to be slaughtered by beastlike creature ‘Kraken’.
However, you would not find any nude image at THQ’s official site, maybe fearing severe criticism THQ had removed it from the image gallery - but, what Gamersyde shows has rendered me as silent as the grave.
Given, not a novel thing, following Jaffe’s footsteps (God of War II), Conan developers are trying to dish up an inappropriate content just for the sake of sales overlooking corrosive effects of such unreceptive portrayals.
A few hours ago, the game had not been rated by the ESRB. However, now one can see the ‘M’ rating sign on it.
