Wii Opera-Browser is on the way and working well but some security bugs have made the beta test a bit tartaric as Opera Software revealed two bugs in version 9.0x of its internet browser.
However, the patched has been performed as the version 9.10; even then the Trial Version used on the Wii is affected because it is powered by Opera 9.0.
One of the bugs, a flaw in the way the browser handles a SVG JavaScript function that not only crashes the Opera web browser, but can also allow arbitrary code execution that can help the hacker to craft a special webpage, which when visited by a victim, would collapse and execute code on the Wii.
The flaw seems to be negligible and hope that too will be eliminated by the developer; otherwise we will have to wait either for a Beta patch or the final Wii Opera Browser.
