Well, there have been enough rumors talking Epic’s Gears Of War for PC, but this time it’s official. Microsoft has announced that the game is coming to PC Platform. Currently, development of PC version is underway and is likely to ship to the retailer stores by the end of this year.

The PC-specific content will make things interesting. In the PC version, players will be employed in five new chapters in a ‘Timgad’ act that takes place just before the game enters into last stage in its console version. In addition, the title will be featuring a game editor using Windows Live. By means of level editor, players will be able to build maps to utilize them in single-player and co-op gameplay.

A video footage of PC version has been uploaded on Gamevideos.com and Youtube, which confirms that more details are likely to come at E3 Expo starting from today in Santa Monica, California. The new footage confirms Gears gang fighting a new enemy named ‘Brumak’ that you didn’t play in the Xbox360 version.

In addition, Viva Pinata is another Xbox360 exclusive title that has been announced for PC and scheduled for this year release.
