Recently in an interview with MTV, Sony Computer Entertainment World Wide Studios chief Phil Harrison said that games need to contain content more than just fun and stress more on deeper emotions and convey situations such as death and peril.

Talking to media persons he said that he firmly believe that the video game world takes the video games just as a fun. He further continued that the gems should have more adult-oriented area with having more fear factor, comedy and calamity content.
Moreover he said that the PS3 sales will never reach to its peak point as nobody will use 100% of its capability due to firmware upgrades and new uses for the Sixaxis controller.
His ideology seems to be pretty high as the present era is next-gen gaming era and when we pronounce next-generation then our expectation itself gets twofold. The contradictory part of his statement is; 'the games,' and games are supposed to be fun'. The question to be asked is why do the gamers play video games? Don't the gamers play games for fun thing?
However PS3 is currently selling below the mark and the statement seems to be quite odd on the part of the Sony because PS3 isn't containing such content as well and others like Wii even without Blu-ray technology is selling well than PS3, but the video games really need these updations like emotions.
