After an agreement with with Sony to publish PlayStation 3 games worldwide, Playlogic, an independent games developer and publisher based in the Netherlands announced that now they are working on a new IP for the PS3.
PlayLogic is developing the title for PS3 at its Game factory studio in cooperation with Sony Europe’s London shop. The game is still in very early stages and Playlogic has not disclosed any specifics about titles. But it appears to be a downloadable offering as the game is on a seven month development timeline.
One thing which is not mentioned in the announcement is that the company has made no reference to Project Delta. The sci-fi shooter was selected to be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and it was reportedly in development at PlayLogic’s Danish studio. Currently, the in-house development studio is working on a Wii port of their survival horror title Obscure II as well as a new Simon the Sorcerer game for the PC, both of which will be out in the first quarter of 2008.
