Nintendo updates its Smash Bros. official site with revealing a new character ‘Pokemon Trainer’ in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The newly introduced character is a kind of ‘three for the price of one’ character that brings in use his three little associates to battle enemies.

Actually, he doesn’t fight directly, but instead lets his Pokemon wage battle for him. He comes equipped with three Pokemon named:

• Squirtle

• Ivysaur

• Charizard

He can swap them in and out at will.


Apart from this, another interesting feature associated with latest update is ’stamina meter’ that each individual Pokemon possesses. However, it’s not clear yet that how this feature affects Ash’s potency, but as per official site, using one Pokemon for an extended time period, or repeatedly switching them in and out is not a much efficient strategy.

Developed exclusively for the Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is planned for a December 3 launch in the US, however, a release date for other territories is yet to be decided.
