Celebration time for Football fans! The latest issue of Video Games Magazine brings the glimpses of a new iteration in the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise from Konami. The mag says that a new edition in the Pro Evolution Soccer series named Pro Evolution Soccer 7 is likely to arrive, later this year.

The biggest thing that the mag reveals is that the game is coming to Nintendo’s Wii. The game is supposed to hit Nintendo’s next-gen console the same time when it ships to other two consoles i.e. PS3 and Xbox360.
I am emphasizing the Wii-shipment of new football fantasy because it’s the first ever, the franchise will see Nintendo’s next-gen platform.
However, a little was known about the title earlier, when one of Nintendo reps at E3 talked about the Pro Evolution franchise’s arrival at Wii.
This is apparently a nice move from the game developer Konami that will help reviving the Wii title line-up with sharper turns and quicker reactions to tackle the defenders scattered across the green pasture.
The thing to contemplate is how will Konami implement controls in Wii-version?
