Last year was an eventful year as far as gaming is concerned and events started really heating up towards the end with the launch of MS's next-gen console - the Xbox 360 and there were some really big titles released for platforms across the board - be it mobiles, handhelds, consoles or PC.

Last year, games for ps 2 sold more than games for any other console. In terms of sales, the top selling games for PlayStation 2 are:
1. Madden NFL 06 by Electronic Arts. It sold 2.95 million units
2. Gran Turismo 4 by SCEA. It sold 1.5 million units
3. NCAA Football 06 by Electronic Arts. It sold 1.13 million units
4. Star Wars Battlefront II by LucasArts 1.10 million units
5. MVP Baseball 2005 by Electronic Arts. It sold 970,000 units.
So, as far as PS 2 is concerned, Madden NFL 06 is the runaway winner. In any case it is a fantastic gaem really.
