At last the day came what for the Japanese were longing for, the debut day of Sony’s PS3 console that has been scheduled for launch on 11th of Nov. The people were very enthusiastic about their purchase for PS3. Bic Camera, an electronics retailer was the venue where you could see the vista of flocks for PS3 hands on impression. The people could be seen standing in queue on the retailer shop for hours.

The good thing here for Sony is that all the consoles were pulled-off the shelves even before the shop opened at 7 a.m. Sony had shipped just 100,000 PS3 consoles for debut day in Japan.

Sony has overcome the very first stage with great pomp and now it is preparing for US launch day that would go ahead on Nov. 17 with around 400,000 consoles. Moreover Sony officials have assured the Europe release date will not be further deferred.

However few days before the news surfaced that the developer is not sue about PS3’s Europe launch. It may pr may not be further delayed. If there be any alteration in the launch date, it would be due to the high demand for the consoles all over the world as already they are with infinite numbers of preorders for the bundle. Alone to US, Sony has shipped 400,000 units for the launch day on 17th Nov.

However PS3 has given away a satisfactory presentation in Japan with very first day of launch, but Sony has still scores of hindrances to overcome like immediate announcement of MS about its Xbox360 price slash that is also arriving to the marketplace sooner than later creating little nuisance in the way of PS3 sale. Already Sony has estimated some crisis of around $1.7 billion for the current fiscal year 2007.

Another barrier in the way of PS3 is Wii with a quite appropriate price-tag that’s also going to hit the market this month. Anyway PS3’s Japan show has certainly mollified the high tides of Sony’s apprehensions to a significant extent.
