Square Enix is planning to bring the playable demo of Final Fantasy XIII for Sony's PS3, sometime this year. The confirmation of the news is in the latest issue of Japanese gaming mag Dengek. The mag states that a playable demo of its lovely PS3 RPG installment Final Fantasy XIII will be out sometime this year.

The mag interviewed a few Square Enix developers and one of them stated that it is in the pipeline.
It's good to know though that we'll at least be getting some FFXIII love for the PS3 this year at E3.
FFXIII dev team member:
We are hoping to have a playable demo ready for E3 in 2007.
We will be able to get some glimpse of the new demo on E3 that would suggest a lot about the gameplay and content.
